Writing in Exile Conference at the Wheeler Centre
Video of a conference that took place during the Wheeler Centre’s Writers in Exile series, which was filmed by The Wheeler Centre in Melbourne on 14 March 2019. This conference was organised by The Wheeler Centre in collaboration with the Melbourne Centre, and focused on the work of writers in exile. The guest speaker was the Iranian poet, playwright, and academic Mammad Aidani, who here is in conversation with Sami Shah, who hosted the event, and with whom Aidani discusses censorship, human rights, and freedom of expression.
