Presenting resolution on Philippines languages

Photograph of nine delegates from different islands and areas of the archipelago of the Phillipines presenting the Resolution on the Promotion of Language Justice and the Protection of the Cultural Integrity and Other Rights of the Indigenous Peoples – a resolution that was adopted at of the 85th PEN International Congress in Manila. This Congress was held from 30 September to 4 October 2019 and was titled Speaking in Tongues: Literary Freedom and the Indigenous Languages to celebrate 2019 being the International Year of Indigenous Languages. Together, these panellists spoke nineteen different languages.
