Eguna Newspaper, 1937

Copy of Eguna, 1937: 1-4. Eguna was a Basque language newspaper that was published for six months from January 1937, until General Franco’s troops seized Bilbao in June 1937. In 2008 the Basque Centre, in collaboration with The Basque Government and Petronor, published a brochure describing the events surrounding the closure of Eguna, which can be seen on page 5.

Exemplaire de Eguna, 1937: 1-4. L'Eguna était un journal en langue basque, publié pendant six mois, de janvier à juin 1937, moment où les troupes du Général Franco se sont emparées de Bilbao. En 2008, le Centre basque, en collaboration avec le Gouvernement basque et Petronor, ont publié un dépliant décrivant les événements entourant la fermeture de l'Eguna, que l'on peut lire en page 5.

Ejemplar del Eguna, 1937: 1-4. Eguna fue un periódico en lengua vasca publicado durante seis meses desde enero de 1937, hasta que las tropas del general Franco tomaron Bilbao en junio de 1937. En 2008, el Centro Vasco, en colaboración con el gobierno vasco y Petronor, publicaron un folleto detallando los hechos entorno al cierre de Eguna, que puede verse en la página 5 del documento.
