Teresa Toda at WiPC Conference

Video of a panel talk that was filmed by the Basque Centre in Amsterdam on 27 May 2015. The video shows a talk given by Teresa Toda, Board member of the Basque Centre, which was hosted by Cathal Sheerin, regional programme coordinator at PEN International, at the Conference of the Writers in Prison Commitee in Amsterdam in 2015. Toda’s case was taken up by PEN International’s Writers in Prison Committee alongside numerous global PEN Centres when she was was imprisoned from 2007 to 2014 for her work on the Basque newspaperEgin, which was closed down in 1998.

Ce vidéo présente une conférence donnée par Teresa Toda, membre du Conseil d'administration au Centre basque, et organisée par Cathal Sheerin, coordonnateur régional à PEN International, au cours de la conférence du Comité des Écrivains en Prison à Amsterdam, en 2015. Toda est devenue un cas du Comité des Écrivains en Prison, qui a fait campagne pour sa libération aux côté du Centre basque et d'autres Centres PEN dans le monde pendant son emprisonnement, de 2007 à 2014, lié à son travail pour le journal Egin, fermé en 1998.

En el vídeo puede verse a Teresa Toda, miembro de la Junta del Centro Vasco, en un col·loquio presentado por Cathal Sheerin, coordinador regional en PEN Internacional, durante la Conferencia del Comité de Escritores en Prisión (WiPC, por sus siglas en inglés) en Amsterdam, 2015. El caso de Toda fue uno de los defendidos por el Comité de Escritores en Prisión de PEN Internacional y numerosos Centros PEN en todo el mundo, cuando fue encarclada de 2007 a 2014 por su trabajo en el periódico Egin, forzado a cerrar en 1998.
