Photograph of guests and speakers gathered for a panel discussion held on 7 April 2017 at Hotel Norbu House in Dharamsala titled Intersection of Language, Culture and Identity. This event was co-organised by the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre and the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy and saw the release of a report titled “Bilingual Policy in Tibet: The Systematic Replacement of Tibetan Language by Mandarin Chinese”. The event’s guest speakers were Tashi Tsering, founding director of the Amnye Machen Institute, who can be seen standing at the very centre of the back row, and Lama Jabb, Supernumerary Fellow at the University of Oxford, standing to the right of Tsering.

Este evento fue coorganizado por el Centro de Escritores Tibetanos en el Extranjero y por el Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.
