The All India Centre’s emergency resolution

Resolution passed at an emergency meeting of the All-India Centre’s executive committee that was held in Mumbai on 23 April 1971, f. 1. This resolution states the All-India Centre’s position regarding the conflicts taking place in Bangladesh and general elections in Pakistan (then known as East and West Pakistan) in the early 1970s, and calls upon support from its members, branches, and PEN International in the form of aiding Bangaldeshi refugees and publishing similar resolutions.

Résolution passée lors d'une rencontre d'urgence du comité exécutif du Centre indien tenue à Mumbai, le 23 avril 1971, f. 1. Cette résolution affirme la position du Centre indien au sujet des conflits sévissant au Bangladesh et des élections générales au Pakistan (alors connus sous les noms de Pakistan oriental et Pakistant occidental) au début des années 1970, et appel au support de ses membres, de ses filiales et de PEN International sous la forme d'aide aux réfugiés bangladais et de publication de résolutions similaires.

Resolución de urgencia del Centro de la India

Resolución aprobada en una reunión de urgencia del comité ejecutivo del Centro de la India en Bombay, 23 de abril de 1971, f. 1. La resolución declara la posición del Centro de la India con respecto a los conflictos ocurriendo en Bangladesh y relacionados con las elecciones generales en Pakistán (entonces Pakistán Oriental y Pakistán Occidental) a principios de la década de 1970, y urge a sus miembros, filiales y a PEN Internacional a ayudar a refugiados bangladesíes y a publicar resoluciones similares.
