Three photographs which were most likely taken in 1996, the year of the Palestinian Centre’s 3^rd International Poetry Festival. The top picture shows Palestinian Centre members visiting those who were injured during The First Palestinian Intifada, which took place from between 1987 and 1993. Hanan Awwad, president of the Palestinian Centre (1992-), can be seen seated at the end on left at the back wall. The middle photograph shows a dinner taking place, with Awwad seated in the middle of the right hand side of the table. The lower photograph shows Awwad, on the left, with Nadine Gordimer, on the right, Nobel laureate and former vice-president of PEN International.
