Protesting Chinese lease of Vietnamese territory

Electronically typed call to action from the Vietnamese Abroad Centre to the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Oviedo, 6 June 2018, in bulletin HS: 2018/TB/KT03, ff. 2. In this document, which is signed on behalf of the Vietnamese Abroad Centre by Lloyd Duong, their president (2018-20), the Centre calls upon members of The National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to reject a proposed legislative bill allowing China to obtain century-long leases of Vietnamese inland territories. The Centre also calls upon Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and the Vietnamese government to allow Vietnamese citizens peacefully protesting the legislative bill to safely exercise their right to do so without threat of arrest.

Llamada a la acción mecanuscrita electrónicamente del Centro Vietnamita en el Extranjero a la Asamblea Nacional de la República Socialista de Vietnam, Oviedo, 6 de junio de 2018, en el boletín HS: 2018/TB/KT03, ff. 2. En este documento, firmado de parte del Centro Vietnamita en el Extranjero por Lloyd Duong, su presidente (2018-20), el Centro pide a la Asamblea Nacional de la República Socialista de Vietnam, que renuncie a la propuesta de ley que permitiría a China obtener arriendos de más de un siglo de territorios itneriores de Vietnam. El Centro también pide al primer minsitro Nguyễn Xuân Phúc y al gobierno vietnamita que permita a los ciudadanos vietnamitas protestar pacíficamente contra el proyecto de ley, ejerciendo sus derechos sin ser amenazados de arresto.
