Empty Chair for Vladimir Kozlov
Poster used for the empty chair dedicated to Kazakh journalist Vladimir Kozlov, and signed by the members of various Centres during the biennial ICORN Network Meeting and PEN International Writers in Prison Conference, which was held in Lillehammer from 31 May to 2 June 2017 and titled In Other Words. Kozlov was condemned in Octobre 2012 for “inciting local hatred” and sentenced to seven years and a half en imprisonment in a penal colony. He was released in August 2016. The portrait was drawn by Maxine Young.
