Football card for Iran
A ‘Football Card’ designed by PEN International to raise awareness of freedom of the word in Iran. Inspired by the FIFA World Cup held in Brazil in 2014, PEN International launched a campaign that year to draw attention to the differing states of free expression in countries partaking in the tournament. A series of football cards – such as the one seen here – were designed to contain statistics from PEN’s case list, and were promoted across social media.
