Tribute reading to Zehra Doğan

Photograph of a reading event organised by the Quebecois Centre and held in tribute to Kurdish writer, journalist and artist Zehra Doğan on 30 May 2019, at the Plateau-Mont-Royal Library, in Montréal. Doğan was arrested in 2016 and sentenced to more than two years of imprisonment, in 2017, for a painting where she drew turkish flags on top of destroyed buildings. She was released in February of 2019. Photographie d'un événement de lecture-hommage organisé par le Centre québécois en l'honneur de l'écrivaine, journaliste et artiste kurde Zehra Doğan, le 30 mai 2019, à la Bibliothèque du Plateau-Mont-Royal, à Montréal. Doğan était arrêtée en 2016 et condamnée, en 2017, à plus de deux ans d'emprisonnement pour une peinture où allait représenté des drapeaux turcs sur des bâtiments détruits. Elle a été libérée en février 2019. Fotografía de un recital literario organizado por el Centro Quebequés en honor de la escritora, periodista y artista kurda Zehra Doğan, el 30 de mayo de 2019, en la biblioteca Plateau-Mont-Royal de Montreal. Doğan fue detenida en 2016 y sentenciada a más dos años de prisión en 2017, por una pintura en la que dibujó dos banderas turcas colgando en edificios destrozados. Fue liberada en febrero de 2019.
