International African Writers Day 2016

This day, which occurs annually on 7 November, was initiated on the day the Panafrican Writers Association (PAWA) was founded in 1991. At this event prominent literary figures, politicians, and members from different African PEN Centres gathered together to celebrate and promote African culture and heritage.
