Speakers at Language, Culture and Identity event

Photograph of speakers at a panel discussion held on 7 April 2017 at Hotel Norbu House in Dharamsala titled Intersection of Language, Culture and Identity. This event was co-organised by the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre and the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy and saw the release of a report titled “Bilingual Policy in Tibet: The Systematic Replacement of Tibetan Language by Mandarin Chinese”. The event’s guest speakers, who can be seen seated at the central table, were Tashi Tsering (on the left), founding director of the Amnye Machen Institute, and Lama Jabb (on the right), Supernumerary Fellow at the University of Oxford.

Este evento fue coorganizado por el Centro de Escritores Tibetanos en el Extranjero y por el Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy.
