Marche manifestive en poésie

Photograph of the Marche manifestive en poésie, which took place on 2 May 2019 in Montreal and was organised jointly by the Quebecois Centre’s Women Writers Committee, La Poésie partout, and l’Atelier des lettres. Around fifty people participated in this march, which was taking place during the Blue Metropolis Festival, and read poetry throughout Montreal – most notably in front of book stores and the statue of Quebecois poet Émile Nelligan in the Saint-Louis Square. In the centre of the photograph, facing the camera, are the poets Jonathan Lamy, on the left, and Jonathan Roy, on the right.
