Illustrated table settings for the 1^st PEN International Congress, London, 1923. This inaugural dinner of PEN International and the earliest established Centres took place in London on 1 May 1923 as a celebration of the organisation’s growing global membership. At this time, the Catalan Centre was known as the Barcelona Centre.

Ce dîner rassemblant les premiers Centres s'est tenu le 1 mai 1923 et se voulait une célébration de l'accroissement constant du nombre de membres dans l'organisation. À cette époque, le Centre catalan était connu sous le nom de Centre barcelonais.

El Centro Catalán era conocido entonces como el Centro de Barcelona.
