Paul Chamberland laureate of the Jacques-Brossard Award

Photograph taken during the awarding ceremony of the Jacques-Brossard/Centre québécois du P.E.N. International Award, given on a two years basis by the Quebecois Centre, to poet and essayist Paul Chamberland, on 19 September 2018, in Montréal. This prize is awarded to a Quebecois writer who has, throughout his entire literay work, expressed and defended humanist or spiritual ideals based on the value of the human individual. In this picture, from left to right, are: Diane Régimbald, chair of the Women Writers Committe at the Quebecois Centre; Gaston Bellemare, president of the Quebecois Centre (2016-); Germaine Beaulieu, in the back, former chair of the Women Writers Committee at the Quebecois Centre; Claudine Bertrand, former Board member; Michèle Bernard, in the back, treasurer (2017-); and Paul Chamberland.
