Guatemalan Centre’s Day of the Dead Campaign 2018
Poster advertising an event organised by the Guatemalan Centre as a tribute to Latin American journalists who have disappeared and whose cases remain unresolved. This event was held as part of PEN International’s Day of the Dead Campaign – an inititative that was launched on 2 November 2011 as a means of annually commemorating writers and journalists who have been murdered, or who have disappeared, as a result of their work. This particular event was titled Homenaje a escritores desaparecidos trágicamente. It took place on 2 November 2018 at the School of Communication Sciences at the University of San Carlos of Guatemala in Guatemala City.
