This article announces the establishment of the magazine Teluria, which was founded by the Committee of Women Writers of PEN Bolivia in Cochabamba in 1996 as a space for the words and voices of female Bolivan writers. Gaby Vallejo co-founded and became president of the Committee of Women Writers of PEN Bolivia in 1992, effectively re-activating the original Bolivian Centre and its branches, which had been dormant since 1978.
