Ivan Herceg in Berlin

Photograph of the Croatian writer and actor Ivan Herceg holding a sign that reads “Kome ću se predatija, a kome ti? koliko ćemo mjesta ostaviti usebi jedni za druge I koliko će naš ostati?”, which translates to “To whom will I surrender and to whom will you? How many places will we leave to each other and how much will we have left ourselves?”. Herceg is standing in front of the Academy of Arts in Berlin, which at that time was hosting a photography exhibition titled What’s the point of poetry?, to which Herceg contributed. This exhibition was organised by Haus für Poesie (House of Poetry), an associate of Lyrikline – an online multi-lingual poetry platform who are a collaborative partner of the Croatian Centre – and took place on 8-15 June 2013.

Combien d'endroits abandonnerons-nous à l'autre, et à quel point nous serons-nous abandonnés nous-mêmes?». Herceg se tient devant l'Académie des Arts à Berlin où avait lieu, à l'époque, une exposition photographique intitulée What's the point of poetry?, à laquelle avait contribué Herceg.
