European Parliament support Sentsov

Photograph of members of the European Parliament showing their support for Ukrainian filmmaker Oleg Sentsov, who was arrested on 11 May 2014 under charges of terrorism and sentenced to 20 years of prison in Russia. This photograph was taken on 14 June 2018 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, when the European Parliament adopted the European Parliament resolution of 14 June 2018 on Russia, notably the case of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleg Sentsov, asking for Sentsov to be released, and human rights to be upheld in Russia. Sentsov was finally released on 7 September 2019.
