The guest of honour at this event was His Eminence the 11th Kirti Rinpoche, who can be seen standing third from the right. With him are: Lokdun, second from the left, vice-president of the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre (2016-22); Lobsang Chokta, third from the left, vice-president of the Centre (2012-16); Woser, second from the right, general secretary of the Centre (2012-16); and Arik Gethong, end on the right, member of the Centre’s Board. This event was co-organised by the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy and the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre and took place at the Peace Hall of Kirti Jepa Datsang Gompa (the Kirti Gompa Monastery) in Dharamsala. A collection of essays by imprisoned Tibetan writers titled “Who are the Real Splittists?” and a report written in English titled “Resettlement is Displacement: A Rights-based Perspective on the Internally Displaced in Tibet” were launched at the event.
