Silenced Readings on Writers in Prison Day

Programme for a Silenced Reading event held for the Day of the Imprisoned Writer on the 15 November 1990 in a residential yard of Richardson Terrace, Daglish. During this event, some members of the Perth Centre performed a reading of poems and excerpts by persecuted writers, including: the Laotian poet Khamphan Pradith, who was imprisoned in a concentration camp in Laos from 1975 to 1992; Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, vice-president of PEN International (2018-); and the Indonesian writer Pramoedya Ananta Toer.

Lectures silencieuses pour la Journée des écrivains en prison"

Programme pour un événement de lectures silencieuses dans le cadre de la Journée de l'Écrivain emprisonné, le 15 novembre 1990, dans une cour résidentielle sur Richardson Terrace, Daglish, Australie. Pendant cet événement, des membres du Centre de Perth ont effectué des lectures de poèmes et de textes écrits par des écrivains persécutés, parmi lesquels : le poète laotien Khamphan Pradith, emprisonné dans un camp de concentration au Laos, de 1975 à 1992; Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, vice président de PEN International (2018-); et l'écrivain indonésien Pramoedya Ananta Toer.

Silenced Readings en el Día del Escritor Encarcelado

Programa del evento Silenced Readings, celebrado en el Día del Escritor Encarcelado, el 15 de noviembre de 1990, en un patio residencial de Richardson Terrace, Daglish. Durante el evento, miembros del Centro de Perth leyeron poemas y fragmentos de la obra de escritores perseguidos, incuyendo: Khamphan Pradith, poeta de Laos encarcelado en un campo de concentración de 1975 a 1992; Ngũgĩ wa Thiong'o, vicepresidente de PEN Internacional (2018-); y el escritor indonesio Pramoedya Ananta Toer.
