90 years of the Slovene Centre

Timeline created on 5 March 2016 to promote an exhibition celebrating the 90^th anniversary of the Slovene Centre, which was titled Svoboda besede (Freedom of Words) and held in Ljubljana from 13 May to 18 June 2016. This exhibition and its promotional material was curated and authored by Samo Kristan and Urša Kocjan, designed by Vesna Vidmar, and used archival material held at the Conservation and Preservation Centre of the National and University Library of Slovenia that was photographed by Milan Štupar. This decorative timeline uses some of the archival photographs and documents displayed at the exhibition to illustrate key events in the Slovene Centre’s history, chronologically tracking the Centre from when it was first established on 20 November 1926 up until it hosted the 48^th International Writers’ Meeting in Bled on 11-14 May 2016.

Cronología creada el 5 de marzo de 2016 para promocionar una exposición celebratoria del 90 aniversario del Centro Esloveno, titulada Svoboda besede (Libertad de las Palabras), organizada en Ljubljana del 13 de mayo al 18 de junio de 2016. Esta exposición y su material promocional fueron comisionados por Samo Kristan y Urša Kocjan, y diseñados por Vesna Vidmar. Usaron material de archivo conservado en el Centro de Conservación y Prevención de la Biblioteca Nacional y Universitaria de Eslovenia, fotografiado por Milan Štupar. Esta cronología decorativa usa algunas fotografías y documentos de archivo presentes en la exposición para ilustrar momentos fundamentales de la historia del Centro Esloveno, desde que se estableció el 20 de noviembre de 1926, hasta que acogió el 48 Encuentro Internacional de Escritores en Bled, del 11 al 14 de mayo de 2016.
