Centenary of Bo Aung Kyaw Commemoration

Aung Kyaw is known for being the first student leader to have died in Myanmar, in 1938, in the country’s struggle for independance. On the photograph, members of the Myanmar Centre are giving a group poetry performance titled Collective Dream, written by Ma Thida, founding member and president of the Myanmar Centre (2013-16), and PEN International Board member (2016-).
