Photograph of John Galsworthy, on the left, co-founder and president of English Centre (1921-32) and first president of PEN International (1921-33), and Ferdynand Goetel, on the right, president of the Polish Centre (1927-33). This photograph was taken when PEN members gathered for the 8^th PEN International Congress in Warsaw, Poland, 20-25 June 1930. This Congress was attended by over one-hundred guests from over twenty-seven countries. This photograph was contributed by the Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe (National Digital Archives) of Poland.
