Page 9 of this issue of the Ghanaian Centre’s newsletter shows several photographs of students from different high schools in Ghana participating in PEN Youth Clubs. The Ghanaian Centre was the first African PEN Centre to introduce and establish a creative writing programme for students, forming PEN Youth Clubs in 1998. Page 12 of the newsletter reports on the activities and seminars the Ghanaian Centre held in preparation for the country’s general elections held in December 2000.
