Reverend Isaac Kwao and the PEN Youth Club

The Ghanaian Centre was the first African PEN Centre to introduce and establish a creative writing programme for students, forming PEN Youth Clubs in 1998 in senior secondary schools across Ghana. This particular event took place at Manya Krobo Senior High School in Odumase Krobo in 1998. On the left you can see the school’s headmaster, the Reverend Isaac Kwao, speaking into the microphone.
