Photograph of PEN members at a PEN Congress, with Argentinian Centre members seated at a table. Handwritten captions on the reverse side of the photograph note that amongst them are (from left to right): Manuel Gálvez, founder and first president of the Argentinian Centre; the Argentinian writer Antonio Aita; and the Argentininan writer Gustavo Martínez Zuviría, who is better known by his pen name, Hugo Wast. This photograph was most likely taken at the 14^th PEN International Congress in Buenos Aires, which took place on 5-15 September 1936 at the Palacio de la Legislatura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
