The 56^th PEN Congress

Two photographs of PEN members at the 56^th PEN International Congress in Vienna, Austria, which was held on 3-8 November 1991 and titled New Structures of Freedom: Literature As Diagnosis And Therapy. At this Congress the Palestinian Centre had been informally accepted into PEN International, and was welcomed as an official Centre in 1992.
