David Hare’s PEN Pinter Prize

Cartoon by the artist Martin Rowson for the 2011 PEN Pinter Prize. Each year, the English Centre presents the winner of the PEN Pinter Prize with a cricket-themed cartoon of themselves, with Harold Pinter – an avid cricketer and former vice-president of the English Centre – usually watching from the sidelines. The recipient in 2011 was the playwright David Hare, who can be seen standing before Pinter, who is seated on a bench beside the prize’s previous winner, Hanif Kureishi.

Le gagnant, en 2011, était le dramaturge David Hare, que l'on peut voir debout devant Pinter, lequel est assis sur un banc aux côtés du gagnant de l'année précédante, Hanif Kureishi.
