For Freedom and Equality book

Front cover of a book published by the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre and the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy for Day of the Imprisoned Writer on 15 November 2016. This book, the English title of which is “For Freedom and Equality”, contains poems and articles by the Tibetan writer and blogger Shokjang, who was imprisoned in 2016 on acusations of “inciting separatism”, and whose case was taken up by human rights organisations including PEN International. Shokjang was imprisoned for three years, completing his full sentence until his release on 19 March 2018.

Portada de un libro publicado por el Centro de Escritores Tibetanos en el Extranjero y el Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy para el Día del Escritor Enecarcelado, el l15 dde e noviembrbe de 2016. Este libro, cuyo título en inglés es «For Freedom and Equality», contiene poemas y artículos escritos por el bloguero y escritor tibetano Shokjang, encarcelado en 2016 al ser acusado de «incitación al separatismo», y cuyo caso fue defendido por organizaciones por los derechos humanos como PEN Internacional. Shokjang fue encarcelado tres años, cumpliendo su condena, hasta que le liberaron el 19 de marzo de 2018.
