PEN International commemorates Lobsang Chokta

Electronically typed letter from PEN International to the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre, London, 8 January 2016; heading: «PEN International», ff. 2. In this letter Jennifer Clement, president of PEN International (2015-) and Carles Torner, executive director of PEN International (2014-20), write on behalf of PEN International to express their solidarity with the Tibetan Writers Centre and the work they are doing to protect linguistic and cultural diversity. PEN International also mentions the tributes held at the Quebec Congress after the passing of Lobsang Chokta, vice-president of the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre (2012-16), who was an integral contributor to the creation of the Girona Manifesto.

PEN Internacional conmemora a Lobsang Chokta

Carta mecanuscrita electrónicamente de PEN Internacional al Centro de Escritores Tibetanos en el Extranjero, Londres, 8 Enero 2016; membrete: «PEN International», ff. 2. En esta carta, Jennifer Clement, presidenta de PEN Internacional (2015-) y Carles Torner, director ejecutivo de PEN Internacional (2014-20), escriben de parte de PEN Internacional para expresar su solidaridad con el Centro Tibetano de Escritores en el Extranjero y el trabajo que hacen para protejer la diversidad cultural y lingüística. PEN Internacional también menciona los tributos hechos en el Congreso de Quebec, después de la muerte de Lobsang Chokta, vicepresidente del Centro de Escritores Tibetanos en el Extranjero (2012-16), que fue una persona clave en la creación del Manifiesto de Girona.
