PEN International commemorates Lobsang Chokta

In this letter Jennifer Clement, president of PEN International (2015-) and Carles Torner, executive director of PEN International (2014-20), write on behalf of PEN International to express their solidarity with the Tibetan Writers Centre and the work they are doing to protect linguistic and cultural diversity. PEN International also mentions the tributes held at the Quebec Congress after the passing of Lobsang Chokta, vice-president of the Tibetan Writers Abroad Centre (2012-16), who was an integral contributor to the creation of the Girona Manifesto.
