Glenys M. Roberts wins Translation Challenge

Photograph of Claire Richards, on the left, and Glenys M. Roberts, on the right, at the Her Gyfieithu (Translation Challenge) awards ceremony, which took place on 4 August 2016. At the ceremony Roberts, as the winner of the Welsh Translation Challenge 2016, recieved a wooden staff from Richards, former Chair of Cymdeithas Cyfieithwyr Cymru (The Association of Welsh Translators and Interpreters), that was carved by Elis Gwyn using wood from the Llanystumdwy area. This event was organised by the Welsh Centre in collaboration with the Mercator Institute and held at the Aberystwyth University stand at the Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod, which was held in Abergavenny.
