Clement’s speech upon becoming PEN president

This Congress took place on 13-16 October 2015 and was titled Translation = Creation = Freedom. Seated at the panel table beside Clement, from left to right, are: James Tennant, who established the New Voices Award and ran the Free the Word! event series, Publishers Circle, and Writers Circle at PEN International; and Carles Torner, executive director of PEN International (2014-20).
