Turkish PEN was founded in 1950, before being closed down after the military coup d’état in 1980 and re-founded in 1988. We currently have more than 300 members who write in various languages, including Turkish, Kurdish and Armenian.

Centre turc

Le Centre PEN turc, fondé en 1950, sera fermé après le coup d’État militaire de 1980, puis refondé en 1988. Nous comptons actuellement plus de 300 membres, qui écrivent dans différentes langues, dont le turc, le kurde et l’arménien.

Centro Turco

El PEN Turco se fundó en 1950, antes de ser clausurado tras el golpe de Estado militar de 1980 y fundado nuevamente en 1988. Actualmente tenemos más de 300 miembros que escriben en varias lenguas, entre otras, turco, kurdo y armenio.
