Photograph of the Austrian writer Stefan Zweig with his second wife, Lotte Altmann. This photograph was taken in 1937, most likely in London, where the couple met. Zweig settled in Brazil after fleeing Austria during the Second World War and became a member of the Brazilian Centre in 1940.
