Jens Lohmnann

Photograph of Jens Lohmann being hugged at a PEN event. Lohmann has been a member of the Danish Centre since 1977, a member of the Centre’s Board since 1987, and responsible for Writers in Prison work carried out by the Danish Centre since 1996. He has participated in PEN missions to Cuba (1996), Peru (1999) and Mexico (2000 – as coordinator) and was actively involved in starting PEN International’s Day of the Dead campaign. Lohmann was a member of PEN International’s Search Committee (2002-05) and became a vice-president of PEN International in 2020.
