Writers in Exile Anthology event

Photograph of German Centre members, associates, and Writers-In-Exile Programme scholars on stage at an event that took place in Cologne in 2017. Among them are: Enoh Meyomesse, third on the left, Cameroonian writer, historian, activist, founding member and president of the Cameroon Writers Association; Monika Grütters, fourth from the right, German Commissioner for Culture and the Media in Germany; Franziska Sperr, second from the right, former vice-president and director of the German Centre’s Writers-In-Exile Programme; and Josef Haslinger, standing just behind Sperr, president of the German Centre (2013-17). This event was held to launch an anthology created by German Centre members and scholars on the German Centre’s Writers-In-Exile Programme, titled Zuflucht in Deutschland: Texte verfolgter Autoren, edited by Josef Haslinger and Franziska Sperr. Presentación de la antología de escritores exiliados
