World Book Day 2018 in Timbuktu
Photograph of four panellists at an event held during the Malian Centre’s celebrations for World Book Day, which took place in Timbuktu on 22-23 April 2018. These events were organised in collaboration with Lecture Vivante and comprised poetry recitals, talks and debates. They also paid tribute to the Malian writer and historian Salem Ould El Hajj who can be seen at the end on the left. With him, from left to right, are: Yéhia Ag Ibrahim Haïdara, writer from Timbuktu; unknown; and Mahamane Sangaré, member of the Malian Centre and president of the association Lecture Vivante (2012-).
