In this photograph, from left to right, are: Terry Carlbom, international secretary of PEN International (1998-2004); Jane Spender, programme director at PEN International (1997-2009) and editor of PEN International magazine; Joanne Leedom-Ackerman, international secretary (2004-07) and vice-president emeritus of PEN International; and Carles Torner, executive director of PEN International (2014-20) and chair of the Translation and Linguistic Rights Committee (1996-2002).
