This issue of the Ugandan Centre’s newsletter features an opening article by Danson Kahyana, president of the Centre (2014-19) and Board member of PEN International (2020-), which reports on the Ugandan Centre’s first set of workshops and youth clubs held at St Lawrence Citizens’ High School from 30 August to 2 September 2002 under the theme “Writing for the World, Writing the World”.
