The Centre’s declaration to PEN International

Typed letter from the German-Speaking Writers Abroad Centre to PEN International, [London], 15 December 1933, f. 1. In this letter four founding members of the German-Speaking Writers Abroad Centre declare the establishment of the Centre to PEN International’s executive committee, and request official recognition. Those members, whose signatures can be seen beneath the text, were Lion Feuchtwanger, Ernst Toller, Rudolf Olden, and Max Herrmann-Neisse.

Carta mecanuscrita del Centro de Escritores de Habla Alemana en el Extranjero a PEN Internacional, [Londres], 15 diciembre 1933, f. 1. En esta carta, cuatro miembros fundadores del Centro de Escritores de Habla Alemana en el Extranjero declaran la fundación del Centro al comité ejecutivo de PEN Internacional, y les piden un reconocimiento oficial.
