Suisse Romand Centre’s first statutes

Typed statutes of the Suisse Romand Centre, titled “Statuts du centre suisse romand des P.E.N. Clubs”, 20 November 1949, ff. 8. The subtitle on this document notes that these statutes were adopted at the first general meeting held by the Suisse Romand Centre in Lausanne on 20 November 1949, just after the Centre was officially welcomed into PEN at the 21st PEN International Congress in Venice in September 1949. These statutes set out the conditions and regulations for joining the Centre, and affirm its principles and objectives to be in line with those in PEN International’s Charter. The appendix at the bottom of the document notes that the two vice-presidents elected should represent all regions of the Romand country, with one living in Lausanne and the other in Geneva. This item is held in the PEN Archives at the Bibliothèque publique et universitaire de Neuchâtel (BPUN).

Primeros estatutos del Centro Suizo Francófono

Estatutos mecanuscritos del Centro Suizo Francófono, titulados "Statuts du centre suisse romand des P.E.N. Clubs", 20 Noviembre 1949, ff. 8. The appendix at the bottom of the document notes that the two vice-presidents elected should represent all regions of the Romand country, with one living in Lausanne and the other in Geneva.
