Statue of Ehmedê Xanî

Photograph of a statue of the Kurdish poet Ehmedê Xanî. This statue, which stood in Doğubayazıt-Bazîd, was torn down by Turkish authorities on 26 June 2017, as part of a crackdown on Kurdish free expression during a time of national emergency in Turkey.
