Scottish writers in Warsaw

Photograph of a delegation of Scottish writers and publicists in Warsaw in 1932. Among them are: Hugh MacDiarmid, co-founder and first president of the Scottish Centre (1928-), end on the right on the front row; Compton Mackenzie, member of the Scottish Centre, second from the right on the front row; and Ferdynand Goetel, first president of the Polish Centre (1927-33), end on the left on the front row. This photograph was contributed by the Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe (National Digital Archives) of Poland.
