Resolution supporting Václav Havel
Resolution issued by the East German Centre (here referred to as PEN Zentrums DDR) in Berlin on 1 March 1989. In this resolution the Centre pledges its support and calls for immediate release of Václav Havel, last President of Czechoslovakia (1989-92) and first President of the Czech Republic (1993-2003), who was sentenced to nine months in prison for his role in human rights demonstrations in Czechoslovakia.

Resolución apoyando a Václav Havel
Resolución emitida por el Centro Alemán del Este, (denominado aquí PEN Zentrums DDR), en Berlín el 1 de marzo de 1989. En esta resolución, el Centro se compromete a apoyar y a exigir la liberación inmediata de Václav Havel, último presidente de Checoslovaquia (1989-92) y primer presidente de la República Checa (1993-2003), que fue sentenciado a nueve meses de prisión por su participación en manifestaciones por los derechos humanos en Checoslovaquia.
