Poster created for PEN International’s campaign to support the case of the Ukrainian filmmaker Oleg Sentsov. In May 2014, Sentsov was imprisoned in Russia for protesting against the annexation of Crimea. PEN, alongside other human rights organisations, supported Sentsov’s case, and he was eventually freed on on 7 September 2017 after spending over five years of detention in a penal colony. In 2017 Sentsov was presented with the PEN/Barbey Freedom to Write Award.
