Postcards for imprisoned writers
Two flyers (known as ‘postcards’ in PEN’s campaigns) created by the American Centre as part of their Writers at Risk campaigns. These particular postcards are left blank in order to encourage protesters to add their own designs, slogans, and messages of support onto them. On these someone has written the hastags “Free Wa Lone Kyaw Soe Oo” and “Ahmed Naji is Free”, referring to two separate cases of persecuted journalists that the American Centre supported between 2016 and 2019.
