In this bulletin Pierre Emmanuel, president of PEN International (1969-71) and president of the French Centre (1973-76), expresses gratitute for his newly appointed role as president of the French Centre (here referred to as the Centre Français et la Maison Internationale) in June 1973. The text also acts as a manifesto of Emmanuel’s vision and objectives for the Centre under his leadership.
