Norwegian Centre

Norwegian PEN was founded in Oslo on 20 October 1922 at Hotel Bristol. The initiative came from Norwegian author Johan Bojer (1872-1959) at the request of John Galsworthy. Frits von der Lippe (1901-1988) acted as secretary from 1922-1928, and he describes early Norwegian PEN as a social club.

Centre norvégien

Le Centre PEN norvégien a été fondé à Oslo le 20 octobre 1922, à l’hôtel Bristol. L’initiative venait de l’auteur norvégien Johan Bojer (1872-1959), à la demande de John Galsworthy. Frits von der Lippe (1901-1988), qui en a été le secrétaire de 1922 à 1928, décrit le Centre PEN norvégien, à ses débuts, comme un club social.

Centro Noruego

El PEN Noruego se fundó el 20 de octubre de 1922 en Oslo, en el Hotel Bristol. La iniciativa fue del autor noruego Johan Bojer (1872-1959) a petición de John Galsworthy. Frits von der Lippe (1901-88) fue Secretario de 1922 a 1928, y describe el primer PEN Noruego como un club social.
